Hofburg Neue Burg

The Hofburg Neue_Burg is a former Imperial Palace of the Habsburg dynasty

At the front is a statue of the Prince Eugene of Savoy (1663-1736) The Prince had a crushing victory against the Ottomans at the Battle of Zenta in 1697

This building currently serves as the official residence of the President of Austria

The interior corridors are stunning

Very pleasing to be in and mostly devoid of people !

There is an Ephesus musuem in the building

Seems that they had Angels in Roman times
